Marty Richardson
Thirty-six years in, the founder comes home to the keys that started it all.
Marty Richardson didn’t just play Crocodile Rocks — he built it. One of the six original players who launched the dueling-piano boom, he opened this room in 1995 and has spent thirty-six years turning strangers into one loud, singing, all-in crowd. He’s toured the country since 1976, opened for Joan Jett, Richard Marx, Survivor, and Leon Russell, run rooms from Savannah Smiles to a circus big-top, and still plays like the whole night rides on the next song — because it does. Back by popular demand for one night only, the man who started it all returns to the piano. Don’t miss it.
A portion of the proceeds from this night will go to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Lexxi Garza brings her signature high-energy piano bar style to stages across the South. Known for her rock vocals, three-part harmonies, and tributes to artists from Selena to Heart, Lexxi has performed everywhere from cruise ship piano bars (Carnival's Piano Bar-Barians) to the most-talked-about dueling stages on the touring circuit.

Awesome bar to hang out and have fun. Piano players were fantastic. Bartenders and waitresses were great. Security guys with red shirts were not friendly at all and had bad attitudes for zero reason.Posted on Google![]()

Great atmosphere! We had a few drinks and stayed for the music. Husband bought the drinks and said prices were fair for a bar. The piano players did a great job keeping an upbeat crowd and we're entertaining to watch/listen to.+0Posted on Google![]()

UNBELIEVABLE!! This is not your every day run of the mill piano bar. It's a full on 4&1/2 hour concert. These guys are serious musicians. Take 2 pianos, synthesizer, drums, guitar... Mix in humor and crowd engagement and the fact that they can play seemingly ANYTHING...And you can have a serious good time! We highly recommend you try this out. You won't be disappointed. We didn't eat here, so can't attest to the quality. Drinks were reasonable for what you got and you cannot beat the $5 cover. This is a seriously fun night out.+1Posted on Google![]()

Extremely talented group of performers. Singing, piano, drums, guitar and jokes. An amazing performance that my wife truly enjoyed. We drove from VA. Bch., Va. because my wife loved the experience. 7pm to 12:30 of great music and fun.Posted on Google![]()

The atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal, vibrating with an infectious Friday-night energy that immediately erased the stress of the week. Keeping the night running flawlessly was Olivia, whose top-notch service and warm presence made the crowded room feel exclusive. She delivered a round of fun, vibrant cocktails that perfectly paired with a spread of elevated bar food. The real standout, however, was the chicken tenders—perfectly fried, exceptionally juicy, and bursting with a genuine, seasoned flavor that proved this kitchen was operating on a whole different level.Posted on Google![]()

As a former piano player and musician, I very much enjoy live music. I haven't been to Crocodile Rocks before but walked in last night and had a ton of fun. I was solo and at no time felt uncomfortable. I appreciated the excellent service, The clean bar, the wide variety of options and the bathroom attendant was very nice. The entertainment was second to none and the entertainers especially Emily, Carolyn, Clayton, and Rory made for an awesome show. If you're in the area you really need to check them out. I did not intend to stay till closing but was having way too much fun to head out early. I will be back very soon.+2Posted on Google![]()

We really had a great time. My only complaint is the restroom. The handicap stall was blocked off by a large trash can and a sign that said handicap and employee use only. When I asked if I could use it the attendant told me "no it was for staff use only". Not all handicap people use a wheelchair. I've had several knee surgeries and I have neuropathy in my feet and legs. The other stalls have very low toilets and I really needed the handicap stall with rails but was not allowed to use it. Please be aware of the needs of ALL of your patrons.Posted on Google![]()

#1 place you should be at night in Myrtle beach. Best dueling piano bar I’ve ever been to!!! Also… ladies if you are cold, ask for their personal knitted blanket to stay warm ? their drinks are great! Also, bachelor or bachelorette party…absolutely a must!+3Posted on Google![]()

When our bachelorette party walked into Crocodile Rocks, I have to admit we were a little bit scared! The place was packed and the energy was LOUD. After walking up the squishy carpeted stairs to the balcony, we found a corner to hide in, but luckily snagged a front row spot when the performers started offering FREE SHOTS! Shout out to the venue for making our bride feel extra special on stage. Now THAT was when the night began. The drinks are cheap with a heavyyyy pour. The pianists are a hoot and a holler, but also incredibly talented! We had a blast singing and dancing along! While we were impressed by the music, what REALLY blew us away that night was the bathrooms. With the state of the carpets and the number of bare man toes on display upstairs, we expected to find sticky, dark, and questionable toilet facilities. When we mustered up the courage to go into the bathroom, we were pleasantly surprised to find sparkling clean stalls, decorations, a small gift shop, and a kind attendant offering us soaps and paper towels. This was a true oasis in an otherwise eccentric and loud environment! Overall, Crocodile Rocks surpassed our initial expectations, and we would return again!+0Posted on Google![]()

It’s always so fun to go here to listen and watch the piano (and sometimes other instruments) players - they are AWESOME ❣️ It’s a great place to people watch as well, people pay $$ to have certain words put on the board, or get songs played. It certainly gets a bit crazy to watch as peeps make fun of each other. Injection needle Jell-O shots and X-Large drinks encourage the participation events.+1Posted on Google![]()
